Virtual School begins on Tuesday, August 18, but teachers have been working all summer to prepare for the big day!
"We've missed our students!" says 7th grade science teacher Mrs. Young. "We've worked all summer and learned about ways to make this new format successful! We're ready to welcome our Falcons!"
Through district-provided training programs, teachers learned innovative tools to bring virtual learning to the next level! Teachers gained knowledge and practiced with tools like Google Classroom, Kami, Desmos, FlipGrid, and many more.
Throughout the day on Monday, teachers will be calling each of their homeroom students to ensure they know where to go in the morning. They hope the extra touch will help ease any uncertainty parents and students may be feeling.
The virtual learning format is new to all of us but our teachers are excited to welcome our Falcons back to Falcon Country! Working and learning together will help make this school year the best one yet!
