On Monday, March 4, Monica Martinez was honored with the "Leadership in Action" challenge coin at a district ceremony. Mrs. Martinez was nominated by Ms. Luna for
for inspiring others and exemplifying leadership.
Currently, Mrs. Martinez teaches both Algebra and Geometry at V. W. Miller Intermediate! Mrs. Jernigan and Ms. Luna were both present at the awards ceremony.
